Our planning volunteer’s work in commenting on an application

We’re so grateful for the work and commitment of our planning volunteers. This is an example of the carefully researched comments, referring to national and local regulations, which we send to the council if we feel a development will be damaging. This application for 6 broiler units would have seen nearly 2.5 million birds pass through each year, producing an estimated 460 tonnes of manure a month. The application was refused in March 2022.
